It's time to get organized

I don't know about you, but the school year is in full swing; with that comes added pressures of backpacks, lunches, tight schedules and papers galore. The key to surviving the school year is to have a "plan."

Here are some ideas:

1) Color code your calendar- pick a color for each family member and apply it to your schedule for easy reference.

2) Do it the night before- lay out all outfits, pack backpacks and lunches for an easy get up and go morning.

3) Create a store and go system- this is most useful by the front door or garage door, whichever you access more frequently. This system consists of Hanging pegs, bins and creative storage solutions. (see next weeks post for how to create your own store and go system)

4)Set your menu- take the time to sit down and plan out your meals for the week. Adjust your meals according to your schedule.
